LLC Work Force Development Program
The LLC work force development program provides the training and experience needed for economic self-sufficiency through on-the-job training opportunities that increase income and decrease the need for public support. The program aims to get individuals into the labor market quickly, while providing long-term job placement assistance.

Defining Work Readiness
All participants are taught basic work readiness skills that are based on a cross-industry standard of what entry-level workers need to be successful.
This standard includes the ability to:
-cooperate with others
-communicate (verbally and in writing)
-solve problems
-resolve conflicts
-take responsibility
-learn
-adapt to change

Evaluating Results
Graduates have:
- Found private sector employment in area hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores
- Found public sector employment with the U.S. Postal Service, Baltimore City Public Schools, and Baltimore Recreation and Parks
- Started a successful painting company and a family child care center
- Entered an Electrician’s Apprenticeship Program
- Joined the Armed Forces
- Entered 4 year college programs
- Completed job training programs in medical fields, information technology, and the building trades
