Mentors are young people, old people, empty nesters, single people, people who have children and people who don't.

Mentors are anyone that has a heart for helping a child in need.  Urban children need to know that someone cares about whether they stay in school, off drugs, and out of jail.

They need to know that someone will remember their birthdays, graduation days, and holidays. Mentors make a huge difference in the lives of at-risk children.

Mentors commit to working with a child for a minimum of 4 hours a month for one year.  Mentors receive training and help completing a child care background check.

Children cannot raise themselves. They need caring individuals to help them when no one else will.
