About Us
The Liberty Learning Center of HLM, Inc. (LLC) is a non-profit educational outreach combining resources from community and faith-based organizations to create positive out-of-school activities for at-risk, urban children.  The LLC believes that early intervention in the lives of inner-city children can help break the cycle of addiction, poverty, and  crime.

Organizational History
The Liberty Learning Center was founded by Holy Lamb Ministries, Inc. (HLM) to provide after school care and summer programs for children in Baltimore City.   HLM is an interdenominational Christian ministry  practicing the Biblical command to "Love your neighbor as yourself."  The Liberty Learning Center could not exist without the support of individuals, community groups, corporate sponsors, and churches.  The Liberty Learning Center of HLM, Inc. is an IRS 501c(3)  tax-exempt charitable corporation.

"Liberty Learning Center's after-school programs for elementary, middle, and high school students are commendable...their recreational and educational programs are centered on character development and faith-based values."

"I am writing to express my church's support for the work of the Liberty Learning Center in East Baltimore.  The youth development and child care programs that the center provides help some of the neediest children in Baltimore City."

"We all know that many children in the area face multiple challenges with substance abuse, teen pregnancy, gangs, etc.  Liberty Learning Center provides an alternative place for them to find a more positive identity.  The mentoring program is another valuable resource, especially for those who are incarcerated."

"The work that is done at the Liberty Learning Center is a beacon of light in what can be a very dark environment for the kids of the neighborhood."

"I, before coming to this church as a Pastor, worked in the counseling field.  I specifically worked with teens that had drug and alcohol addictions, mental health problems, and sometimes both.  Many of the teens that I worked with were from low income families and needed a program like this one....I see the Liberty Learning Center as a tool in an area that needs as many tools as it can get."
